A downloadable soundtrack

A soundtrack for an imaginary psychological puzzle-adventure game.

Silas wakes up inside an abandoned village with no memories! Help him find a way out by guiding him through the treacherous landscape. This task is easier said than done, however...

Throughout the game, Silas is guided by multiple mysterious notes left at key locations. Who could be writing these notes? What could they mean?

Oh, and there's a physical manifestation of Silas's childhood self--he's probably just hallucinating, though.

I made this OST with the idea of it being an escape -- not in the literal sense, but more like an escape from the mind. Silas, who just happens to wake up as a bird in a village, is dealing with some sort of unknown repressed trauma. The little bird exists to help guide him through the gloom and eventually escape and come to terms with reality.

The *not so big* plot twist in this game is that Silas is stuck in a time loop -- and he doesn't realize it. The notes that are left behind for Silas were written by Silas himself. In the context of gameplay, puzzles are often solved by leaving behind multiple notes across attempts to come to a solution.

Hence the name, "Paper Trail"

Most of the tracks in this OST just represent different locations. I imagined the journey to the lighthouse as a pivotal moment in the game, where Silas tries to see beyond the village and signal for help.
